Egg Bake

Sausage egg and cheese casserole.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bread - cubed with crust on
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 lb sausage
  • 7 eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups of milk (to mix with eggs)
  • 1/4 cup of milk (to mix with soup)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

Directions

  1. Cook and drain sausage
  2. Beat eggs and 2 1/4 cups of milk together
  3. Place bread in greased 9X13 pan
  4. Top bread with cheese
  5. Add cooked sausage on top of cheese
  6. Pour the egg and milk mixture into the pan
  7. Refrigerate overnight
  8. Next morning set oven to 325° F
  9. Mix the soup and 1/4 cup of milk
  10. Spread the mixture over the top of everything in the pan
  11. Bake for 1 hour, or until it isn't dip.

Notes

When making a half-batch do not decrease bake time.
